Roman Coliseum

Roman Coliseum

This amazing landmark looks even more beautiful when it is illuminated at night. It is said that as long as the Coliseum stands, so will Rome; but if the Coliseum falls, Rome will also fall. This photograph shows the damage of the earthquake in 1349, which cause the collapse of the top of the south side of the building.
